Nadine Duren: "At the time, in early 2000, I was a dog trainer in Jarny. And my daughter had a friend in a wheelchair. Her story touched me, and I wanted to combine my passion for dogs with the help I could provide to people with disabilities. So I became a foster family myself. Originally, it was called Anecah (National Association for the Training of Assistance Dogs for the Disabled). But so that the general public could better identify us, it became Handi'Chiens."
